Service Pack 3

This latest release includes all of the enhancements found in previous Service Packs. Installing the latest service pack, SP3, will replace all previous installs. With the release of Service Pack 3, overall product stability is greatly enhanced. Previous problematic geometry with defective triangles and open edges, found in SP2, are now more easily managed and will not cause system hangs.

This latest enhancement introduced in volumeBreaker SP3 is a big step forward, allowing the user to easier create more life-like demolition effects.


How to get Service Pack 3

volumeBreaker SP3 is offered as a free download to every registered customer. Current users of volumeBreaker should Login to my.cebas.com and obtain the latest SP3 Service Pack from their "View Product Registrations," my.cebas.com Account menu. Registered users will automatically see all of their available download options.


If customers are not currently registered on www.cebas.com, or do not see their SP3 download, they may contact us through the Contact menu located on the cebas Home page and supply their relevant data (serial numbers).

thinkingParticles™ R4 is the next generation rule based particle system for 3ds Max and 3ds Max Design, offering unparalleled power to the user. In its latest incarnation, thinkingParticles R4 SP1 redefines Fluid, Rigid Body and Particle F/X simulation in a whole new way.


Whats New in thinkingParticles R4 SP1

This new Service Pack (SP1) improves overall program stability and enhances workflow and physics simulations in several areas. Continuous beta testing and user feedback have made this release possible and ensures that this release will perform much better than any previous release (SP1) of thinkingParticles R4.

No new or additional features have been added to this Service Pack. Existing functionality has been enhanced, either by fixing smaller workflow issues or adding new methods, in order to calculate effects faster under certain situations.

Some of the main changes in this Service Pack affect fixes to the volumeBreaker module within thinkingParticles as well as enhanced 3ds Max 2011 compatibility.
